NAI PALM LIVE AT SILENT GREEN

Nai Palm is a two-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and musician from Australia whose music has been championed by R&B and hip-hop’s most respected tastemakers including Questlove, Jazzy Jeff, Erykah Badu and Prince. BERLIN SCIENCE WEEK 
November 1 – 10, 2019 

Running from November 1-10. Berlin Science Week brings together people from innovative scientific institutions to celebrate science, while connecting and engaging with the local and international science community and the public. We provided interviews with participants and coverage from events.

October 2019

KCRW BERLIN PRESENTS
DOKUARTS 
October 10 – 27, 2019

The 12th edition of DOKUARTS presented 25 films about art from 17 different countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Lebanon, China, and Pakistan.  We held a ticket giveaway, as well as broadcasting audio postcards from directors, and running an interview with the American film director Stanley Nelson.

INTERNATIONALES LITERATURFESTIVAL BERLIN
September 11 – 21, 2019

Every September the Internationales Literaturfestival Berlin serves as a platform to present contemporary developments in prose, poetry, non-fiction, graphic novels, and children’s and young adult literature from all around the world. Check out our 30 minute special featuring interviews with authors.

ASCENDING AFGHANISTAN: WOMEN RISING
September 25, 2019

The evening screening of this award-winning documentary about female mountain climbers in Afghanistan was  hosted by renowned journalist, Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson, who was joined by the founder of the nonprofit Ascend, Marina LeGree for a Q&A session after the film.

TORSTRAßEN FESTIVAL
September 7, 2019 

Torstraßen Festival presented a one day special edition of its annual fest on September 7, 2019. The day comprised of 28 concerts and DJ sets alongside an Independent Label Market. We provided a promo of the event, artist interviews and photos from the day on our Instagram.

Silicon Allee Unplugged is a series of discussions in which visionaries and change makers talk about their experience in tech, business, politics, and the social sector. The first guest speaker was Mitch Landrieu, former Mayor of New Orleans, in a discussion moderated by Silicon Allee Co-Founder, Travis Todd.

B-LA CONNECT is a platform to promote the cooperation and interlinking between the two sister cities’ creative communities. The Bear is Berlin’s favorite bilingual storytelling event, featuring real stories, told live. In honor of Berlin Science Week, Scientists took to the stage to perform true, personal stories in English and German.

On July 13th, the Houston-born, Berlin-based artist Lotic presented his debut album “Power” amongst the immersive walls of MONOM’s 4DSOUND installation at Funkhaus, Berlin. This one-time event celebrated the album’s release that day with Tri-Angle Records.
