Amanda is a Fulbright Journalist reporting for KCRW Berlin as well as The Local Germany. She comes to Berlin by way of Washington, D.C., where she worked for the United States Holocaust Museum.
Amanda is particularly interested in German politics and human rights, an interest which lead her to her current work with Fulbright. She has a varied background, having dabbled in science writing, marketing copy and policy reporting. Along with Berlin, Amanda has also lived abroad in Belgrade, Serbia.
Outside of her work with KCRW Berlin, Amanda loves exploring Berlin’s food scene and catching films at her local indie theatre.
