Humanity Disrupted: Artificial Intelligence and Changing Digital Society
March 14th – March 15th, 2018
Baden-Württemberg Representation to the Federal Government in Berlin
Tiergartenstr. 15, 10785 Berlin
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are transforming models of economics, politics, security and ethics. Society is just catching up. Leading innovators, thought leaders, politicians, business community and civil society from Germany, the U.S. and other leading AI powers discuss the latest technological trends, economic effects, and political and ethical conundrums. The conference aims to raise awareness for the possibilities and pitfalls of AI among the German public by making the themes and challenges accessible to decision-makers and citizens – and shape a values-based discussion around the notion of AI as a “public good” at the service of democratic societies.
