The Bear on KCRW Berlin: Paper stories (A version of this show first aired on Dec. 28, 2019)

This month, we revisit a show that aired at the end of 2019. The three true, personal stories you’ll hear were first broadcast on KCRW Berlin last December. The theme of the evening was paper and the extraordinary memories such an ordinary material can spark.

Each month, we bring you our favorite stories from The Bear storytelling evenings.

This month, we revisit a show that aired at the end of 2019. The three true, personal stories you’ll hear in this show were recorded live on November 22, 2019 and first broadcast on KCRW Berlin last December. The theme of the evening was paper and the extraordinary memories such an ordinary material can spark.

The storytellers featured in this episode Galuh Rohmah, Mike Trupiano and Fabienne Lang. Berlin musician Felix Komoll performed live. Our show’s theme is “I Need Love,” remixed by D.J. Spector.

The Bear was created by Dyane Neiman and inspired by The Moth. If you would like to tell a story or attend the next Bear storytelling evening, check out the Bear storytelling’s event page.
