Berlin Science Week: Mayor Michael Müller on Berlin’s journey to becoming a science and research capital

Berlin Science Week 2019 is underway throughout the city, with hundreds of scientists, entrepreneurs, Nobel laureates, policymakers and members of the public coming together to discuss the latest scientific discoveries and innovations.

We sat down for an interview with Governing Mayor Michael Müller to learn more about the unique obstacles Berlin had to overcome to become a center for science and research, and the importance of international cooperation in solving today’s toughest problems.
