Will advances in artificial intelligence improve the lives of ordinary people? That depends on who you ask. At the Aspen Institute Germany’s second annual AI conference in Berlin, computer scientists, ethicists, engineers and more, debated the pros and cons of creating machines that can make their own decisions.

We have a wrap-up of this year’s event and hear competing perspectives from some of the experts in AI.

Check out our event page for more coverage from the conference.
