Berlin innovators rethink energy consumption

Energy consumption directly affects consumers’ power costs, while also putting a strain on the planet. According to Christian Noll, managing director and co-founder of Deutsche Unternehmensinitiative Energieefficienz (DENEFF), it is not enough to talk about renewable energy, consumers must be mindful of lowering their energy usage as well.

Some Berlin initiatives are hoping to spark the interests of consumers with innovative ways to save energy, from tax incentives to restructuring the way German supermarkets operate. We found out more.
