This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus art school, an institution that a century later still influences artists, architects and designers with its forms, colors, and composition.
To reflect on this legacy, we caught up with Grant Watson, co-curator of a new exhibit called “bauhaus imaginista” at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt: “What I hope comes through this exhibition is that the idea of the Bauhaus is kind of a historical resource,” says Watson.
“bauhaus imaginista” is running at the HKW until June 10.
