It’s Berlin Fashion Week, and among all the latest designs hitting the runways, a group of trend-savvy people kicked off events by calling for no less than a revolution of the industry.

We spoke to Hannah Ringwald, a representative from the German organization Future Fashion Forward, film director Nino Jacusso, as well as Patrick Hohmann, a pioneer of organic cotton production and one of the subjects of Jacusso’s documentary “FAIR TRADERS”, which was screened this week as part of NEONYT 2019. The film follows true stories of people working ethical, environmental and economic improvements across the supply chain.

“FAIR TRADERS” will be released across Germany in late February.
