Berlin-based duo RÁN play psych-infused indie rock. The band, comprising Laura Landergott from Austria and Yair Karelic from Israel, found themselves gig-ready within eight weeks of playing together, produced their debut EP, “Hunt Like Lions,” in 2017, and are working on a full-length album to be released at the start of 2019.

We caught up with them to talk about their first chance encounter, their writing process, feminism, and their penchant for the unpredictable.
