Tinyhouse University founder chasing big dreams in small packages

Architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel has a dream that one day it will be possible to “live in the center of the cities that we would love to go to without paying a single cent.”

As the founder of Tinyhouse University at the Bauhaus Campus Berlin, part of the Bauhaus-Archiv, he experiments with space and design to help realize this dream. Monika Müller-Kroll talks with Le-Mentzel about the meaning of “urban nomadism” and what’s next for the tiny house movement.
